Hundreds of people, who have been forced to migrate from their village Kotranis in Hakkari-Turkey at 1994, are still picking recycling materials at the garbage sites and in the center of Ankara, capital city of Turkey, send them to the recycling market. When we started to record their lives on video between the years of 2001 and 2004, we also witnessed the pains of their forced migration and their fight against the wildest face of capitalism in the capital city of Turkey. This video tells the story of those people, from a 13 years old child taking care of his family from the garbage of Ankara to the elderly people being expelled from their village, and their efforts to exist just with their labor despite all deportations, contempts and discriminations just by relying on their labor.
