The documentary “Ankara Hospitals Among the Concrete” takes you on a journey through the hospitals that were closed down in Ankara, the city hospitals, and the transformation of the healthcare system. It is a documentary in which you will find much of yourself, your loved ones, your memories, and your working life. It is not a glorification of Ankara, but in many ways it is a documentary about a living Ankara and the Republic. There is a sense of longing for what has been lost, but also a spirit of collective struggle and hope. It carries the excitement of fighting for a different healthcare system and a different Turkey.
